Do you have a passion to work with children?- An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our PBS team who support children with complex needs, learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders and behaviors that challenge.- Positive Behavior Support (PBS) is a person-centered approach to supporting people with a learning disability.- You will work directly with the young people to provide care and support to meet their needs and develop their independence and life skills, implementing evidence-based interventions and PBS plans to reduce behaviors of concern and improve quality of life.

**_Yearly salary includes bonus £20 uplift per night (Average nights 3.5 per week)_**

**Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- To contribute to the Care Planning process of children cared for by Family Care Group
- To support young people with any personal care needs Undertake moving and handling in line with policies and procedures.
- To attend and contribute to your supervision sessions and appraisal processes.
- To represent the company when called upon to do so by exhibiting the highest professional standards.
- To participate in training programmes and individual training courses Undertaking waking night duties in accordance with the home’s Rota
- To maintain all records in accordance with company policy, regulations, and statutory requirements

**You**:

- Must hold a current valid full driving license.
- Previous Residential Childcare experience is essential (Not nursery/early years)
- Experience with Learning disabilities or mental health support for adults & children is essential.
- Possessing a Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce is desirable.
- Be able to work on a night shift/Rota basis - waking night shifts - 152 hours per month
- An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment
