We have most recently acquired Stride Gaming, which, together with our existing Digital business, forms Rank Interactive. We employ circa 8,000 people globally, with our UK office functions being located in Maidenhead (Head Office), Sheffield (Customer SolutionsHub), London (Digital) and a further office in Gibraltar, which is home to our existing Rank Digital function.

**Job Description** As the Strategic Transformation Lead you will have daily interactions with our C-suite, learning our business from the inside out.
This is a hybrid working role, based out of our Head Office in Maidenhead 3 days a week. There may be occasional travel to our office in Gibraltar and across our UK estate.
**The Opportunity:**
As Strategic Transformation Lead, you will form part of the Transformation Office team. Your three main areas of focus are:
- Have ownership of a strategic cross-functional programme(s), from discovery through to the execution phase
- Act as a trusted advisor to an area of the business, sitting on that leadership team
- Oversee ongoing implementation and execution of broader transformation initiatives within specific workstream(s), including promoting the development of new initiatives which support the strategic direction of the business.
You will:
- Be responsible for the execution of key strategic projects, actively contributing to the success of these initiatives whether it’s taking personal accountability to progress agreed-on actions, or working in partnership with various leadership teams andother stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Act as a “critical friend” to your designated business area, identifying areas of focus; opportunities to challenge, question “why”; and generally doing what it takes to bring to the fore important strategic priorities.
- Put forward hypothesis-based problem sharing to seek second-order implications and insights beyond the obvious so that we can be sure the strategic projects we pursue fulfil our ambitions, and that we evidence real progress at pace.
- Contribute to the composition of the overall portfolio of programmatic work that your designated business area is considering, highlighting areas of opportunity, and supporting the business to prioritise in line with broader strategic objectives.
- Be responsible for driving the process of identifying, planning, executing and realising the value from emerging and defined initiatives supporting the business with updates as required.
- Engage, collaborate and challenge the Exec and teams across Rank to ensure relevant plans have stakeholder engagement and buy-in.
- Lead work groups and committees to promote new developments, ensure continuous improvement, etc.
- Provide project management and coordination, including the development of work plans and facilitation of activities and resources to achieve objectives.
**Qualifications** We are looking for you to bring significant experience working in a strategy consultancy type role or experience in strategic planning/transformation/business operations.
- Experience of transformation or significant change in a hospitality or retail environment.
OR
- Experience in setting up and achieving brilliant strategic partnerships that have delivered accelerated growth in an organisation.
OR
- Experience in helping an organisation transform the customer experience, particularly in relation to Omni channel opportunities and a seamless experience of a brand.
In addition, we expect that you will have:
- Experience in sharing insights and recommendations in a structured, and easily digestible manner, persuading based on facts and sound logic.
- Experience in managing complex research and analysis to drive business case development for key strategic focus areas.
- A proven track record for planning and implementation of complex projects or programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Highly proficient skills in Excel and PowerPoint - experience with programme management tools desirable (e.g. MS Project/Wave).
