**Client Details**
An Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) _that _provides first class financial and investment advice
**Description**
- Deal with incoming post, administration requirements and new prospect enquiries received for the clients of your affiliated Advisers and act accordingly
- Always Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the relevant FCA rules
- Comply with the relevant compliance, TCF, T&C and, financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud and corruption) procedures of the firm at all times
- Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes
- Always follow appropriate ethical standards within the firm
- Liaise with your affiliated Advisers to discuss workloads and case priorities
- Review meeting notes provided by affiliated Advisers and create relevant tasks on XPlan. Produce/issue Letters of Authority and deal with any other administration requirements arising from the client meeting, including chasing requested information and completingpolicy information sheet.
- Forward meeting notes to other colleagues as appropriate i.e. Technical Team so that they are also aware of work required
- Cover tasks/processes, when required, for other Advisers when their own dedicated CST administrator is unavailable
- Answer and deal with incoming telephone calls from your clients
- Ensure that the back-office system (XPlan) is kept up to date and electronic correspondence is filed appropriately at all times in XPlan
- Prepare clients annual reviews and valuations for your affiliated Advisers as requested/when due
- Produce and input client/Trust Factfinds into XPlan along with updates of personal and policy specific information at every opportunity
- Process client risk profiles via XPlan
- Collate and pre-complete client documents from servicing through to new business for your affiliated Advisers
- Deal with client queries
- Process all new business for your affiliated Adviser's individual and corporate clients
- Draft letters on behalf of Advisers/Directors when required
- Liaise with external administration centres and other third parties
- Greet clients and other visitors
- Undertake project work when required by Directors
- Scan daily post and distribute as appropriate
- Overseeing/delegation of annual reviews and ensuring these are scheduled when due
**Profile**
- The requisite knowledge for the role being undertaken
- Be working to or maintain a basic technical knowledge and qualification
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of the firm's record keeping requirements
- Understanding of the provision of advice to clients in a compliant manner as detailed in the firm's compliance manual and procedures
