About This Role

We are seeking a Client Services Administrator to join our team at SYNETIQ Ltd., a leading provider of vehicle salvage and recycling services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative tasks and deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Handle telephone queries from customers and clients in a polite and professional manner.
  • Action and respond to all customer and client communications promptly and professionally.
  • Update user accounts and manage access to our partner portal.
  • Add both manual and automated uplift instructions to the system.
  • Manage client queries received via the partner portal.
  • Process both manual and automated clearance of salvage at the request of our clients.
  • Generate certificates of destruction for salvage that has been scrapped or dismantled.
  • Deal with incoming post, including vehicle documentation and keys.
  • Handle and respond to fines and penalty charge notices from the issuing body.
  • Assist customers with retaining cherished plates.
  • Liaise with our site team to coordinate the return of personal belongings.
  • Assist the Auction team with issues preventing vehicles from being listed for sale.
  • Perform general office duties, including scanning, database updates, and filing.
  • Arrange the collection of customer vehicles and salvage upon request.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft packages.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of motor vehicles or previous experience in the motor industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Able to manage and prioritize workloads.

Salary & Benefits:

  • A competitive basic salary of £25,000 per annum.
  • 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays).
  • A pension plan with a 3.5% employer contribution.
  • A day shift, Monday to Friday, 08:30 am - 5 pm.
