At Smallworld we are dedicated in providing beautiful accessories from designing to retailing We believe every accessory should be beautiful, bold and different. We supply to some of the largest supermarket & retail chains on the highstreet.
This role is within the merchandising team who ensure that we have the right products at the right time in the right place in the right quantities. They work together with the buying team to plan the ranges taking control of stock levels to maximise profit and sales.
Position: Merchandising admin assistant/ allocator
Location: Hassocks, just outside of Brighton
Full-time, Permanent, flexible working with mix of home and office
**Salary**: £23,000-£25,000 depending on experience
**What We're Looking For**:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially excel
- Excellent communication & ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for merchandising and retail
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
**Key Responsibilities**:
Supporting the merchandising & buying team day to day. Providing accurate sales, stocks & intake information.
Analyse and interpret sales data to help shape trading decisions Presenting finding the wider team.
Propose & action monthly stock allocations to stores & online with the support of your merchandiser.
Liaising with the retail field team to ensure that key trading decision & updates are actioned
