We have an exciting opportunity within our vibrant Maternity service, for an experienced PA looking for their next opportunity.

As our PA, you will work closely with the Maternity leadership team, which comprises our Heads of Midwifery and Matrons across our Colchester and Ipswich sites.

This role is based at Colchester Hospital. Though there may be some cross site working required, this will be limited as we utilise technology to facilitate cross site working wherever possible.

Working as part of the maternity team, you will provide a consistent and effective administration service to support the Head of Midwifery across both sites at Colchester and Ipswich.

Your duties will include diary management, document formatting, drafting correspondence, arrangement and minute taking in meetings, including senior staff meetings and cross site CDG meetings.

You will support the heads of midwifery with diary management, collation and presentation of information. Undertake enquiries both internally and externally (directly liaising with NHSI, NHSE, the CCG and other strategic stakeholders) when necessary.You will be expected to process nursing & doctors annual leave, study leave and clinic amendments involved with this. You will also support with rota co-ordination, logging sickness and updating ESR, booking courses on ESR for staff and updating appraisal dates.You will manage and file all personal file correspondence both electronic and hard copy files.

You will process orders on the Integra System for the maternity team processing Charitable fund orders. Arranging IT equipment replacement. Organising events including arranging for funds, booking function rooms and supplies for the day.
