An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and well organised Community ASD Co-ordinator to join our Community Paediatrics team, based at Colchester Hospital.

You will be required to work to a high standard of accuracy, have excellent organisational skills and be able to demonstrate initiative in planning your own workload in a way that supports the clinical teams to manage operational tasks and processes.

As a team player you will be working in a way that encourages high performance from other staff, with the aim of maintaining optimum efficiency within the department. To support other team members to deliver an efficient administration and secretarial service.

Consistent provision of higher level, comprehensive and efficient administrative support to manage the ASD pathways in Community Paediatrics. To utilise and incorporate the required technology/hospital systems including Big Hand/PAS/Evolve/Medway and any other new technology or system(s) that are introduced including demand/capacity tools.

To provide a role in the smooth organisation of the department and an advanced administration service to the medical teams. Using own initiative, managing, prioritising, planning and organising own time using extensive knowledge, skills and experience.

Provide diary management and support to the Speech and Language Therapy team.
