This role is a pivotal new element to Active Fusion’s Senior Leadership team, reporting directly to the Charity Director Lindsy James. This role aims to strengthen Active Fusion’s partnerships within the community and in local educational settings, and also create and foster new key partnerships.
- Have experience in a leadership role, and the proven ability to lead, manage and develop a team, creating a collaborative work culture.
- Have a deep understanding of the education and charitable sector, or be willing to immerse themselves in quickly
- Have a history of driving business development / innovation initiatives, cultivating strategic partnerships with a range of stakeholders, have been involved in planning at a strategic level and had some elements of financial management in previous roles.
- Bring innovative ideas and perspectives on where to develop new partnerships and diversify funding streams

Active Fusion have been helping the young people of Doncaster and South Yorkshire, through the power of sport and physical activity since 2002

They’re now a 20+ team full of passionate people who want to help increase the life expectancy of young people in the local area.

They do this through 1:1 and group coaching, partnerships in education and leadership training for young people.

Before you apply, we encourage you to undertake some initial research into why we do what we do and what our longer term vision is:

- Managing oversight of our core service delivery performance, KPIs and team delivering - Fusion Education, Fusion Communities and Fusion Futures (approx. 1 day)
- Managing existing relationships and partnerships and funding aligned to the above work (approx. 1 day)
- Developing on advocacy and new partnerships and relationships that lead to traded and funded opportunities across service and wider charity work area (approx. 1.5 day)
- Undertaking strategic work with the Senior Leadership team, specifically our people and partnership strategy and growth plans (0.5 days approx..)
