**About the Role**

Your specialist area will be all things advisory with a focus around Employee Relations. Your primary focus will be providing timely comprehensive advice and service across the varied customer service departments of Addison Lee. Another key aspect of the role will be coaching and providing guidance to the our leaders, managers and employees in our Peterborough site

**Salary**

£35000 - £40000 (dependent on experience)

**Hours**

37.5 hours (5 days per week)

**Location**

Peterborough (at least 3 days per week) with a mandatory day in our Central Office in Paddington, London every other week

**Requirements**:
**Main Accountabilities**
- Advise, coach & develop managers through matters relating to employee lifecycle within our Peterborough office (with cover for other areas of the business where required)
- Effective case management of people related issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, flexible working, redundancies and restructures, TUPE processes, health & wellbeing, absence management, occupational health referrals, mediation referrals etc
- Work closely with the Recruitment and Engagement Manager on the end-to-end onboarding process of new hires ensuring they are still supported once introduced to the organisation
- Proactively analyse ER activity to ensure ongoing improvement through the production of monthly reports and updates
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with all relevant stakeholders across Addison Lee to promote good and consistent employee relations
- Partner with Ops & Team Managers to proactively support and engage on matters related to the Employee Lifecycle, with a view to minimise escalation of people related issues
- Develop and deliver training workshops to line managers to grow and empower them in their people management capabilities
- Act as a functional expert on all People Standards and Procedures and update when required
- Take ownership and work as a team on various exciting new HR projects
- Have a focus on continuous improvement to ensure the HR team always adds the maximum value
- Understand and keep up to date with new employment legislation and to proactively seek out HR initiatives that can be implemented at Addison Lee

**Essential**:

- Demonstrable experience of taking ownership for managing the full employee relations remit supporting and developing line managers from start to finish
- Experience of providing support, guidance and coaching to people managers using clear and adaptable communication skills
- Demonstrable experience of succeeding in an advisory role within a fast paced HR department with high volumes of employee relations cases
- Experience of delivering people management training workshops
- Able to interact with and influence people from all departments and at all levels within business
- A desire to continuously improve and develop HR and employment law knowledge and expertise
- Data driven and analytic approach to managing the ER along with ongoing reporting of key metrics
- Ability and willingness to travel to London bi weekly and other offices around London when required
- Interest and enthusiam of providing coaching to managers and senior stakeholders
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or above / relevant experience

**Desirable**:

- Experience within an HR shared services function
- Experience supporting HR in a call centre environment
