Our client based in York are looking for a temporary Finance Assistant to join them on a temporary basis, initially for 6 weeks with potential to be extended.
The role is to start as soon as possible to support the finance department during a busy period of transition. You must hold or be willing to purchase an Enhanced DBS to be considered for the role.
Key duties:

- Supporting the purchase ledger and credit control team.
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices.
- Reconciliations and resolving supplier queries.
- Monitoring debt and contacting debtors to ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
- Processing credit card statements.
- Other ad hoc duties to support the finance team.
