Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) is the largest of Scotland’s seven regional transport partnerships. We run the Glasgow Subway, a host of specialist bus services and are responsible for delivering better public transport for all.

SPT is currently delivering a £288m Subway Modernisation Project to improve the customer experience and secure this iconic public asset for future generations. The first new Subway trains have arrived in Glasgow and work on Subway Modernisation continues at pace this year. **About the Role**

As a member of the Subway Operations Training Team you will equip our Subway Operations staff with the knowledge, skills and competencies to perform their duties safely and effectively. You will assist the Lead Training Officer and Head of Service Operations & Security (Subway) by creating, developing, preparing and delivering training to the Subway Operations staff. Your initial focus will be on training the Station Staff & Drivers on the new rolling stock. You will also deliver other training programmes as the Subway Modernisation Projects progresses.

**About You**

A highly motivated, reliable and capable individual you will be able to work under pressure while assessing and being able to adapt to changing priorities. You will use your communication skills and interpersonal skills to work with the Subway Operations Training Team to deliver a consistently high level of training to our staff and equip them to deliver safe, efficient and customer focused subway services.

Full time hours will be an average of 35 hours a week Monday to Friday. You will be based in the Operations Suite, Govan Subway Station, Glasgow.
