We have an exciting new role available as an HR Advisor to provide both generalist and ad-hoc project-based HR support for our central support functions (Finance/Technology/Legal/Communications/Transformation etc) based in our Maidenhead Office. The roleprovides a great springboard toward a HR Business Partner role in the future.

You can be home/field based or based at the Rank Group’s Maidenhead office. The business is currently operating a hybrid working approach with employees typically working 3 days based on the office and 2 days remotely/home based.

Key elements of the role will include:

- A key part of the role will be working alongside the HR Director to facilitate and help drive forward key HR projects. This will be ad-hoc and varied but could include for example involvement in projects around Employee Opinion survey, key talent managementcycles; the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda and more.
- Partnering with senior managers across the business to manage day to day people issues offering pragmatic solutions to resolve issues in a timely manner. Collaborate and engage with the wider HR team to provide a responsive, consistent, and forward-thinkingHR advice.
- Providing general HR support across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, probation, employee relations, appraisals, training, employee queries, and exit procedures.
- Supporting and advising managers on performance management issues (PIP and probation), as well as redundancy, disciplinary, grievance and appeal meetings.
- Supporting managers and teams through organisational change projects and optimising ways of workings, as well as ongoing projects.

**Qualifications**
- Organised, structured, well planned with the agility and adaptability to flex between the demands of day-to-day operational HR and ad-hoc HR projects.
- HR Advisor with several years of experience within a generalist HR role in a sophisticated business and HR environment.
- CIPD qualification/equivalent, ideal but not essential.
- Great communicator and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build sound relationships with leaders, managers and staff and be recognised as an expert in the HR function.

**Additional Information**

Travel to Sheffield, Kentish Town and Maidenhead will be required, the frequency will depend on business needs (It is not anticipated that there will be regular travel to Sheffield).
