**PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE**

Your role also entails ER advisory responsibilities, supporting site management with ER issues, ensuring that they are dealt with effectively. It’s important that as a Human Resources Advisor you drive professionalism and act as a true role model, enabling Nursery managers to learn & develop their own people skills. If you've got experience in Early Years/Care, that's great news, but not mandatory. Your experience, attitude and skills are more important.

- You’ll build positive and impactful relationships to ensure strong levels of team engagement and be an ambassador for the organisation.
- Assist and support Managers in HR activities where appropriate, including grievance and disciplinary processes, absence reviews, performance management, pay and benefits.
- Provide advice on HR policies and procedures, including the implications of employment law and practices.
- Contribute to the development of HR policies, strategies and procedures to ensure they reflect good practice and meet legislative requirements.
- Co-ordinate/respond to the team HR inbox queries as required.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with all sensitive data.
- Assist and support the colleague lifecycle from starter to leaver including recruitment, employment contracts, induction, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, pay and benefits.
- Work with the HR teamto develop and roll out training initiatives as required.
- Work with the wider HR team on specific HR projects as required e.g. acquisitions/TUPE.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Welwyn Garden City: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CIPD (required)
- Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Maidenhead, SL6 7UA
