Responsible for the deployment, management and performance of the mission critical enterprise network service in order to achieve maximum performance and availability throughout the organisation.

You must have in-depth experience supporting and deploying cisco networking in a high availability enterprise environment.

As an IT Specialist you will ideally have experience of the following:

- Background in supporting a large network environment, with a focus on Cisco Routing and Switching.
- Expertise in LAN and WAN networking, Wireless, VOIP, user access control.
- Proven practical hands on experience of working within an IT support environment.
- Service focused with the skills to build an affinity with all levels of client stakeholders.
- Good problem-solving skills, with an ability to take a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Proactive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and learn "on the job".
- Flexible, able to prioritise workload.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess confidence when liaising with all levels of staff including Directors, Senior Managers and with client stakeholders.
- Responsible for self-development and acquiring new skills.

You will get satisfaction from ensuring the high performance and availability of secure services and systems and contributing to the development of IT solutions throughout the Trust.

The IT Department is based at Hull Royal Infirmary and operates between 8am - 5pm weekdays.
