An exciting opportunity has arisen to replace the Haemophilia & Transplant Co-ordinator.

The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination and provision of accurate, complete and timely data to support both the Haemophilia, Haemoglobinopathy and the Transplant services, within the Haematology department. This will include the collection and submission of patient level data to national registries, effective management of departmental quality.

They will be work under the supervision of the Haematology CNS Team Co-ordinator and the Haemophilia Clinical Nurse Specialist Team to assist both with the smooth running of the specialist department.
- Attending multidisciplinary meetings, ensuring that actions are followed up, and that both internal and external databases and patient data systems, are updated as appropriate.
- Arrange meetings including room bookings, WebEx, Teams. etc. as required both internally and externally and with other organisations including departmental MDT
- There will be some requirement for the post holder to attend national forums, either in person or virtually, to understand the wider national context relating to both services
- Updating and submitting data to the National Haemoglobinopathy Registry and other databases and some statistical analysis.
- The post holder will have a demonstrable knowledge/ability to utilise all relevant hospital clinical management systems/programmes to assist with timely collation of patient information.
- Possesses competent keyboard skills including Microsoft office and excel, fluent in the use of the use of computer programmes used by the team
- The post holder will have experience of working autonomously in an office or administration environment that involves working on own initiative and having responsibility for own decision-making.
- Be able to identify and highlight any data quality issues and look to resolving them by liaising with the appropriate staff/department.

HUTH provides specialist and tertiary services to a population of 1.25 million extending from Scarborough in North Yorkshire to Grimsby and Scunthorpe in North East and North Lincolnshire respectively.
