**Job Title: Quality Assistant - Part Time**

**Reporting to: Quality Manger**

**Main purpose of the role**:
**Provide admin support to the Quality Manager and assist with the development and review of the Quality Management System of the site.**

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Undertake office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
- Maintain and regularly review production records.
- Record and monitor production performance data.
- Review and update Health & Safety Records.
- Review and update COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) manuals.
- Update Maintenance Register as appropriate, ensuring that all maintenance records are completed correctly.
- Conduct traceability challenges, ensuring all documentation is accounted for.
- Review all aspects of Process Manual and ensure the standards required by ISO 9001 are to a satisfactory level.
- Ensure that all production training is recorded and inputted onto the training matrix.
- Providing administrative support for the Quality Manager and ensuring quality records are up to date.
- Assisting with quality planning activities to ensure BRC requirements are being met.
- Maintaining ISO9001/ISO14001/BRC systems ensuring all information is accurate, up to data and security stored.
- Ensure company concessions and approved supplier systems are up to date.
- Document quality assurance practices by entering data into logbooks, noting information in computer databases and recording all inventory and actions.

**Knowledge and experience**:

- Experience in manufacturing industry.
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Keen eye for accuracy and fine detail.
- High level of determination when dealing with challenging situations.
- Solid organisation, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills.
- Forward thinking and solutions orientated approach at all times.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to engage a senior-level audience.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills essential.
- Effective problem-solving skills.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.60-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
