**Full Time**

**The duties of this role would include**:

- To be fully aware of future Hotel availability at all times.
- To sell rooms to the Hotel’s best advantage
- To accept reservations requesting all relevant information on reservation cards provided.
- To request confirmation of all bookings detailing all information required by Hotel.
- To input all reservations into computer using all options available for recording guest history, ie, completing sales card for new companies and setting up of guest history details in computer.
- To file all reservation cards in day and month order.
- To confirm back to client all details of their reservation using best method available
- To check each day’s arrivals 24 hours in advance (Friday tasks must include checking Saturday, Sunday and Monday’s reservations). Allocating rooms to the best advantage of the Hotel and client.
- Chase up any confirmations, rooming lists, account details, pre-payments etc., as required.

The Mercure Newcastle George Washington Hotel Golf and Spa is an independently owned hotel, golf and leisure complex located on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne. The Washington-based hotel offers a convenient location for visitors to the Tyne and Wear region with easy access to the major road network and within 15 minutes of Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland and Durham.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 9 months

**Salary**: Up to £23,129.00 per year
