About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at nVent Thermal Management. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and business development efforts for our industry-leading thermal management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) consultants and contractors to promote our products and solutions.
  • Identify and target potential clients to expand our customer base and drive profitable revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with M&E consultants to influence project specifications and ensure that our products are included in project plans.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio and their applications to provide high-level technical support and assistance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and new technologies to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions, seminars, and webinars to enhance the knowledge of M&E consultants and contractors about our products.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market feedback, and prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in specification sales within the construction or electrical industry.
  • Strong technical competence with the ability to understand and explain sophisticated engineering concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license.
