Job Introduction
Do you want to join an enthusiastic and motivated Family Time Service?
The Northumberland Family Time (Contact) Service supervise family time for children and families across the county of Northumberland. We supervise family times within our dedicated venues and within the community, observing, monitoring and completing a record of sessions. We work in partnership with the locality social work teams from which we receive all referrals, promoting and supporting family time between children and their families. We offer a high level of support and training to all Family Time Workers.
The main office base is in Ashington, Northumberland, however staff will work across the County adopting agile and flexible working. We are recruiting 2 full time Family Time Workers, which will include some evening and Saturday work.
We are looking for people who have experience of working with children, young people and families, who have NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in childcare/social care or equivalent and have access to their own transport along with a full driving licence.
