The Turnpike in is a large Village pub in the middle of Connor Downs, located a five minutes’ drive from both Hayle and Gwithian. With a large community of local, everyday drinkers and diners, plus a large influx of holiday makers during the peak seasons.

Recently refurbished we have a lovely cosy bar area, with reception and a barista coffee machine, following on to a large restaurant and conservatory.

We are looking forward to expanding further in opening the B&B upstairs from May 5th.

Looking for an independently driven Front of House Member, with an attentive and enthusiastic service Style. An experienced working professional who, Ideally, is comfortable with Waiting on, Money Handling/Card Machine use, serving on the Bar, making Coffee’s and using a telephone booking system.

We are a Family friendly and dog friendly establishment that takes pride in excellent fresh food, a super warm welcome, looking to provide a fantastic experience from start to finish.
