Procurement Administrator

Glasgow, United Kingdom LUDDON CONSTRUCTION LIMITED Full time

To support the Procurement Team with a variety of tasks related to and in line with the organisational procurement processes, including but not limited to administration and procurement-related tasks.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Assist with ordering of materials as required.
- Manage office supplies procurement and monitor stock levels.
- Assist the procurement team with checking and approving invoice queries.
- Input Local Purchase Orders and liaise with finance team.
- Filing of requisitions, orders and local purchase orders.
- Collate and maintain approved supplier database including supplier performance feedback.
- Collate weekly supplier reports and issue to sites.
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as instructed by Chief Buyer.

**Health and Safety Responsibilities**:

- Co-operate with company in compliance with H&S legislation.
- Comply with company policy and procedures at all times.
- Promote company policy and procedures.

**Experience**

Previous experience within an Administration role.

Experience of working in a fast-paced customer service environment as part of a team.

Previous experience of working within a Buying Dept.

**Qualifications**

Business Administration Qualification

**Knowledge and skills**

IT literacy, including Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to develop relationships with other stakeholders.

Ability to prioritise own workload and complete assigned tasks efficiently with autonomy and mínimal supervision

Excellent organisational skills and numerical skills

**Personal qualities**

Enthusiastic customer service focus.

Proactive and organised in approach to processing tasks.
