**Your new company**Hays Recruitment is seeking to appoint an experienced secretary/PA working for a well known NHS organisation.
Working as part of the Estates and Facilities team reporting to the Governance Manager, you will be providing executive/administrative support to the Directors of the organisation and supporting corporate and operational elements of work.
**Your new role**
- You will be managing diaries, writing letters, taking minutes attending meetings, dealing with ad hoc queries, complaints concerns such as HR employee matters.
- You will need to be someone who is pro active, someone with diary management experience, traditional secretary experience, IT skills.
- Meetings won't be board level, but you will be expected to attend in house level operational meetings.
- You will be attending operational management group meetings once a month.
- Quite structured meetings, so you will be looking at your own diaries and taking initiative to plan around it, you will need be an organised individual with excellent time management skills.
- Prepping agendas, working with appropriate managers. Making sure everyone is invited to the meetings, sending out typed notes to the person who has chaired the meetings.
- you will be expected to take short minutes - and an action log. Might have to take a detailed minutes sometimes or short minutes.
- Action logging after meetings

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- The role will be required to work as part of a team but also exercise initiative on their own within set parameters. You will need to have a professional approach to work, have previous PA/secretarial experience and have the enthusiasm and willingness tolearn quickly.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail will be important. Excellent written and communication skills are important.
- The role will be required to attend meetings and take minutes.
- You must be computer literate preferably in word documents, excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint.

Previous Secretarial and/or Administrative experience (2 years minimum).
Start date is as soon as possible.
Shift pattern / working hours - full time 37.5 but less hours can be accommodated and part time flexible working can be considered.

Duration - The role is initially for 2 months to sit alongside a period of maternity leave. Salary will be between £10.29-£11.75 per hour
