**Purchasing Coordinator**
**The Role**
- Responsible for ensuring materials and parts required for business are procured
- Speaking with subcontractors regarding their purchasing requirements
- Negotiate prices and lead times on requirements to drive costs down
- Ensure materials are readily across multiple sites
- Build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers
- Review stock levels and adjust when required to suit business needs
- Monitor supplier performance and address any reoccurring issues
- Provide purchasing reports on costs to senior management
- Chasing up with suppliers on any overdue / outstanding purchased goods
- Other ad hoc duties
**Essential Criteria**
- A minimum of 2 years (+) experience in a purchasing position
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Confident with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to process information
- Previous experience in working with MRP system (desirable)
