**Key Duties**:
1. Lead the Student Records team to meet delivery and compliance targets, ensuring a professional and customer-focused approach.

2. Ensure compliance with ILR across funding streams, investigate and clear data errors promptly, and disseminate funding rules and policy changes.

3. Support the Head of MIS in submitting funding returns to various agencies and providing compliant evidence during audits.

4. Assist in the annual curriculum planning process, maintaining accurate course data throughout the academic year.

5. Establish and maintain contact with academic and support areas, providing guidance on funding and compliance requirements.

6. Administer student loans process and perform reconciliations to ensure records match those of funding agencies.

7. Support timetabling processes and register production across funding streams.

8. Fulfil other duties as requested, aligned with grade and status.

**Person Specification**:
**Essential Requirements**:

- Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum L2 qualification in Maths and English or a commitment to achieving it within a specified time period.
- Experience in process and policy preparation and monitoring.
- Ability to produce accurate and auditable data/reports.
- Strong MS Office skills and IT literacy.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage diverse workloads, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
- High level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Relevant Degree in Management or equivalent higher-level qualification.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience in data management in the public or private sector.
- Experience in a college or educational environment.
- Familiarity with further education MIS software.
- Customer-facing experience within an FE environment.
- Knowledge of ESFA and Office for Students funding rules and regulations.
