Queenswood Country Park is a much-loved community asset for the people of Herefordshire with an estimated 20,000 visitors per year. The site is managed by Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, in partnership with New Leaf Sustainable Development Ltd, under a long-term lease from the Herefordshire Council.

Herefordshire Wildlife Trust (HWT) is a wildlife conservation charity for everyone who cares about nature in Herefordshire. We are dedicated to protecting the special wildlife in Herefordshire and encouraging people to enjoy, care for and act for nature. We own and manage 55 Nature Reserves across the county and have over 6,000 members. Our Vision for Wildlife aims to place nature’s recovery at the forefront of tackling the climate emergency - for wildlife itself, for the natural services it provides and for everyone’s wellbeing. Together we can make sure that future generations living in Herefordshire will be able to enjoy the sense of wonder and well-being that nature offers.

**Purpose of the job**

This varied role will be split between the Queenswood Visitor Centre and Café, offering support where needed to ensure our visitors have the best experience possible. The Queenswood Country Park Visitor Experience and Café Assistant is one of the ‘faces’ of Queenswood, both in person at our Visitor Centre and Café and digitally through our web and social media platforms. Working closely with our Visitor Experience Manager, they will aim to ensure all visitors have a wonderful experience and deliver exceptional customer service before, during and after visits, assisting with queries relating to car parking; accessibility; events and trails.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour
