**PIB Group are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Administrator for a fixed term period of 6 months. We** are open to accommodating various working arrangements and are happy to discuss options for part-time, full-time, job share, and flexible hours.**

**The Role**:
The purpose of this role is to process and control accounting transactions relating to our clients’ insurance policies. This role is instrumental in protecting our clients’ money under the CASS 5 rules whilst providing an efficient and compliant service to our stakeholders. This role profile is applicable to business areas such as Cash allocation, Bank reconciliation, Insurer & Bordereaux Reconciliation, Client, Insurer & Introducer Payments, Client & Insurer Money Calculations and Credit Control.

**Responsibilities**:

- Management of own workload effectively prioritising to achieve targets and quality standards as per agreed objectives.
- Build and maintain effective & professional relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Support and assist other members of the IBA team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Take full responsibility for investigating and resolving queries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Comply with all Group and departmental policies & procedures.
- Identify, record and escalate breaches of company policy & CASS rules.
- Participate in ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
- Proactively identify and support continuous improvement opportunities.
- Actively identify and pursue opportunities for self-development and complete all mandatory training in required timeframe.
- Support audit and other information requests as required.
- Adhere to the expected behaviour standards for the role.

**Skills & Experience**:
Previous experience in finance administration or reconciliation
- An all-round knowledge base of working within a finance department
- Working knowledge of IBA accounting systems (Desirable)
- Previous experience working in a financial service environment (Desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using MS Office including Excel & Word
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
