This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to interact with patients, clinicians, and other internal departments such as the Multidisciplinary Team. The post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills and a professional telephone manner, as well as empathy when speaking with patients.

You will be responsible for checking outcomes of patients attending clinic on downgraded and Two Week Wait appointment and facilitate booking of any required tests within deemed timescales.

You will be the point of contact for the next steps in patient pathways following an alternate/cancer pathway referral/diagnosis.

You will co-ordinate with the clinical team and internal departments regularly to ensure patients have a smooth transition throughout their pathway.

Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
