This is an exciting time to be joining Defra’s Northern Ireland Directorate. We are responsible for leading the implementation of the Windsor Framework, announced by the Prime Minister on 27th February 2023. We bring together policy, project delivery, veterinary and international trade professions working collaboratively across Defra and with other government departments.
You will play an active role in shaping and delivering the Directorates priorities, working creatively and collaboratively with others to deliver excellent outcomes. You will have the opportunity to develop your own skills and future career.

**Job description**:
In this role you will work in a multi-disciplined environment drawing together the expertise across of policy, negotiations, analytical, delivery, and stakeholder engagement teams. This will include developing and designing evidence-based policy proposals, contributing to projects supporting the successful implementation of the Windsor Framework, engaging with external stakeholders, working with colleagues across government and providing advice and briefing to senior leaders and ministers.
