Due to continued growth, we are searching for an experienced, confident, and hardworking Administrator to support the Electrical Technical and Compliance Department.

**Job Purpose**

The administrator provides everything from basic levels of admin support, data entry, copying, filing, dealing with phone calls, work routing, making appointments and customer surveys etc. In addition, to more challenging tasks such as monitoring and interrogating active works report and failure demand, maintaining works database and other important records. They would be expected to be able to think for themselves and look for solutions to problems on their own in the first instance. They should be familiar with IT software, such as Word, Excel and Outlook, and able to format documents to the required standards. The administrator will also assist with the administrative duties of the Senior Electrical Compliance Manager and the Operations Managers but will be guided through most tasks.

**Job responsibilities**

Attending meetings with managers and clients. Creating meeting agendas and taking minutes

Photocopying & Filing

Answering the phone / dealing with queries

Data input onto bespoke database system

General typing

Maintain employee compliance records.

Maintain complete IT records as per QA requirements.

Deal with incoming posts (external and internal)

Produce letters/memos and other written forms of communication.

Contribute to own self-development.

Comply with QA procedures.

Comply with Health and Safety Policy

Act as holiday & sickness cover for an alternate administration post

Maintain Electrical, plant & procurement systems and generate monthly reports.

Maintain sub-contractor spreadsheet

Order stationary and maintain stocks.

Upload Electrical Test certificates to Gabriel and distribute/file.

Maintain & update the Electrical Test Certificate spreadsheet.

Conduct customer satisfaction survey monthly and distribute the report.

Monthly reports for the electrical compliance manager

Scheduling & booking of Electrical Compliance Manager audits

Making sure KPIs are up to date

**Key Skills**

Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills

Proven experience as an Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or relevant role

Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages, including Word and Excel

Familiarity with office equipment, including printers

Knowledge of office policies and procedures

Experience with office management tools (MS Office software, in particular)

Flexible approach to work

Team player

Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

Diploma: additional qualifications as an Office Administrator or Secretary are a plus

**Salary**: £21,000 - £24,000 based on experience

Hours: 9.00am
- 5.30pm Monday to Friday
