**Your Role**

You will provide admin support for the Head and Deputy of the Accessibility. This will include directly corresponding with service users, event teams and external agencies. Ensuring at all times that we are providing support to our visitors, volunteers and staff that have additional needs, in order for them to fully access all our events and activities.

**Your Team**

The year round team comprises of 5 people. This role will be line managed by the Head and Deputy of Accessibility, and will work alongside an additional administrator and our BSL Manager. The Accessibility Team works as part of the Operations and Event Planning directorate ensuring that the needs of our visitors, volunteers and staff with additional needs are being considered at every level of planning. Providing a much needed service to the disabled community wanting to access and enjoy pride.

**Your **Responsibilities**
- Produce and distribute accessibility information in multimedia formats;
- Build effective relationships with the disability community to co-produce the guide and recommendation on accessibility for Pride;
- Build effective relationships across the organisation to optimise the EDI and accessibility of Pride.
- Communicate and liaise with key volunteers on the event day.
- Employ the Accessibility Handbook and assist in the accreditation by Attitude is Everything.
- Provide proactive, reliable and confidential administrative support to the Accessibility Team
- Uphold the Accessibility team’s mission on equality diversity and inclusion (EDI) in Pride

**What you'll bring to Pride in London**
- Good understanding of disability and connection with disability community;
- Knowledgeable in good practice of equality diversity and inclusion (EDI)
- Experienced using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook and Google Suite
- Excellent written and numerical skills and use of media apps and software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that build relationships with internal & external groups
- Able to use own initiative and takes ownership of any task through to completion
- Effective organisational and time management skills ensuring all deadlines are met
- Displays a positive and flexible attitude at all times
- An ability to problem solves and seek out information to make decisions
