**Families & Children Support Manager**

**Job Title**: Families & Children Support Manager

**Salary**:Circa £40,000 pa dependent on experience

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Hours**: Full time, 35 hours pw (flexible options available)

**Location**: This role requires presence across all seven centres - flexibility such that 1-2 days can be worked remotely and other flexible arrangements e.g. a 4 day week will also be considered

The charity has been providing care for families since 1993. The organisation is part of a national network providing a place of care and refuge for families facing loneliness, hardship, or parenting challenges. They are supporting families to protect theirmost valuable assets, their children. Childhood doesn’t wait and the charity aspires for the thousands of children under five in Greenwich, access to their support and services will be simple.

**Families & Children Support Manager role**:
The charity knows their people are their most precious resource. They have a strong and committed team of experienced and enthusiastic staff members. They provide support, expertise and go above and beyond their duties to make sure the needs of the familiesin the local community are met. In particular, the Early Help Wellbeing team that this role leads have built a strong reputation as a highly experienced, friendly and competent team.

The Families & Children Support Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the Early Help Well Being Team. This post is fundamental to the Integrated Working and Early Intervention part of the “Start Well“ contract and requires closelyworking with Health Visitors, the promotion of Well Being and the safeguarding of children and families in the Central Area Children’s Centres to successfully improving their outcomes.
