**This is a fixed term position for 24 months.**

About the role

The Childrens Systems Programme Lead will be responsible for making the organisation's system improvement ambitions a reality. The post holder will manage the transformation team that will make the changes happen and expertly lead them to success. They will be confident in making decisions and advising the Programme Board how we can achieve our shared goals. The programme is wide reaching and building relationships and understanding the requirements of our customers will be key to success.

We are replacing their children’s case management system and the Programme Lead will be responsible for ensuring that this complex programme delivers the expected benefits. The postholder will manage the system implementation, data migration and will work with colleagues on developing processes which really support our front line practitioners. They will use their expertise and experience in managing a major system implementation to identify and mitigate the challenges which may potentially arise in this programme.

As a major change programme, the Programme Lead will keep colleagues at all levels informed and engaged. They will be the driving force behind this programme and will be expected to model our company values of Trust, Respect and Empower in all aspects of their work.

About you

To succeed in this role you'll need to be experienced in delivering organisational wide transformational change. Whilst at the core of this programme we are changing a case management system, we don’t see this as a purely technical role. They need to be able to engage and enthuse stakeholders, understanding their requirements and what success looks like for them, along with being confident using technology and understanding how it supports us to provide excellent services to Children, Young People and Families in the areas we serve.

You will need:

- Significant experience leading large system implementation projects or major change programmes.
- A proven track record as a successful leader within the public sector, with direct experience of working with services that support children and families.
- Adept at communicating technical and complex information to a variety of audiences using a variety of tools i.e. presentations, reports etc.
- Have a passion for Achieving for Children’s vision, mission and values (trust, empower. respect) to support children and young people to live safe, happy, healthy and successful lives.
- Be confident using technology, understand how it supports service delivery and be passionate about promoting its use
