Liverpool, United Kingdom Age Concern Liverpool & Sefton Full time

**Activities Coordinator
- The Hamlets**
- _Are you looking for a new role in which you can make a huge difference to the daily lives of our residents? _
- _Do flexible and part time hours interest you, working for a charity that has the care and support of individuals at the heart of everything we do?_

**Yes? Then maybe this opportunity is what you are looking for.**

The Hamlets is a nursing home, in Liverpool 8, for people with functional mental illness and the successful applicant will need to be comfortable working with participants who may need additional encouragement and stimulation.

Our Activities Co-ordinator will be responsible for maintaining a stimulating programme of leisure pursuits and social events for our residents on a group and individual basis. You will produce a weekly events programme and ensure that it is promoted, and that participation is encouraged. There will also be an element of consulting with residents and relatives on what they would like to experience, as well as working with external project/advice providers.

Within the role you will be responsible for planning and facilitating a new weekly schedule of activities for our residents to ensure they have a variety of things to look forward to. Whether it’s Arm Chair Yoga, Bingo, Art and Crafts or Book Club, our residents are looking forward to what’s in store each week and will benefit from your creativity. This is a new role so there is a real opportunity for flexibility in how and when it is delivered.
