**The Role**

Provide a connective and proactive HR resource to management evaluating and providing solutions for their business needs and goals translating these into people and talent actions. Deliver high quality HR interventions across a range of HR activities inorder to enable HR Business Partners, senior leaders, line manager and employees to add maximum value to the business.

**Key Duties**
- Work in partnership with HR BPs, HR Advisors, Managers and key stakeholders to resolve employee relations matters proactively and reactively in the most cost effective and timely manner
- Attend formal employee relations meetings (grievance, disciplinary, absence, probationary and capability) supporting, coaching and guiding managers throughout the process (as appropriate)
- Partner with HR BPs, HR Advisors, managers and key stakeholders to provide HR expertise to enable individual and team development
- Working in partnership with managers to ensure that appropriate records are maintained of all formal meetings and supporting in the preparation of bespoke documentation
- Provide managers, and key stakeholders with relevant support and advice, to effectively manage probation periods and ongoing employee performance, motivation and engagement
- As directed by the Head of People ensure that the annual performance and salary review process is fair, rigorous, appropriately communicated and in conducted in line with our Reward strategy
- Review and embed CSG’s reward strategy, developing and promoting our Performance and Career Pathways strategy
- Undertake annual and ad hoc salary benchmarking as appropriate to ensure that CSG continues to attract and retain key talent
- Work in partnership with the Communications Manger to generate employee communications and ensure they are in line with employee voice and business culture
- As director by the Head of People review and develop the people plan in line with the business plans direction and key strategic objectives
- Responsible for the annual staff survey, the identification of areas of success and development, together with the drafting and implementation of action plans
- Responsible for the Employee Forum, ensuring that all areas within the business are represented, and that members understand their responsibilities particularly regarding communication cascade and confidentiality
- Provide HR support and guidance to all HR BPs and managers, ensuring that divisional People plan priorities remain a key focus and agenda item on monthly meetings
- Support the Head of People and divisional HR BPs to undertake a range of projects identified in the People plan, including but not limited to Reward, Recognition, Engagement, Communication, Recruitment, Talent Management, Succession Planning and the implementationof new systems
- Fully embrace and work to embed CSGs output focused culture, and act as a CSG People Ambassador at all times
- Review, update and maintain CSGs suite of policies, letter templates, employee guidance, ensuing that these are in line with our employee and employer brand
- Work in partnership with the Head of People and HR BPs to ensure that the people and engagement aspects of projects are appropriately manged as well as providing expert TUPE guidance and advice
- Any other duties consistent in nature with those outlined above

**What we need from you -**
- CIPD Level 5 or above
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a senior HR role, HR Manger / Senior HR Officer
- Proven HR generalist experience - strategic and operational
- Demonstrable HR project experience
- Ability to work within diverse and cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Demonstrates a good track record of translating business objectives into HR solutions
- Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
