In this job role as a **Housing Officer, **you will deliver a proactive approach to tenancy management and support our customers to ensure they can enjoy their home and sustain their tenancy. Working closely with our customers to understand their needs and where help is needed the most, enabling us to deliver outstanding customer service and make a real difference.

You’ll support your Housing Manager to lead on our vision, Housing Made Simple, to make it as easy as possible for customers to rent their homes whilst ensuring that we are compliant with legislation and Flagship’s policies and procedures. You’re responsible for a case load, providing support to tenants with concerns including safeguarding, hoarding, property condition concerns and mental health support. Also assisting with the management of tenancy breaches and tenancy fraud.

Applications are welcomed for the role of Housing Officer from those with exceptional communication skills with the ability to deliver complex and difficult messages in a simple and engaging way. At Flagship Group, we always put our customers first so you will be able to listen and empathise in order to act with our tenants’ interest at heart. You must be able to confidently prioritise and manage a case load based on urgency.

You will need a full valid driving licence, in order to carry out this role, as you will be visiting tenants in the community.

**The role is a permanent post, working 18.5 hours per week. You will be required to work a half day on Wednesday, a full day on both Thursday and Friday.**
