We are looking for a Trainee Asset Officer to join the operations team here at Havebury. Working within our Strategic Property Team, you will be part of a new team working alongside our Asset Data Analyst to ensure the best decisions are made for our homes and communities. You will support the team with data enquiries, ad-hoc enquiries as well as developing your knowledge in Asset Management within a Social Housing environment.

**Outline of key responsibilities**:

- Support the Assets Team in delivering an great service to residents, ensuring that assets systems data is accurate, working with colleagues in the organisation to improve the ways we collect, manage and develop our asset data.
- Gather intelligence about Havebury’s assets and assist in the planning of investments by recording, maintaining and reporting management information about our assets and contracts.
- Work closely with the Asset Data Analyst co-ordinating data for major works procurement, including planned investment and leasehold.
- Be a key point of contact for the Asset team when it comes to Asset management enquiries and administration support to the team.
- To carry out any other duties as requested provided they are within professional capabilities and relate to the area of responsibilities.

**We are looking for someone who**:

- Desire to learn and develop
- Excellent ICT Skills
- Self-motivated, able to work on your initiative and committed to both personal and corporate development
- Holds a full UK Driving licence
- To have an interest in a career in Housing, construction and/or Asset Management.
- An understanding of social housing would be a benefit but not essential
- Experience of dealing with members of the public, including effective handling of difficult situations
