A friendly, professional, and relaxed Financial Services company based in St Albans are looking for a Team Leader to join a friendly and welcoming team.
You will be based within a modern office centrally located and in easy reach of the town centre.
The company offer excellent opportunities for development and progression in the future. This is an office-based role based in the office 5 days a week, Team leading a team of 13 call handlers.

**Key Responsibilities for the Finance Customer Service Team Leader**:
- Contribute to organising the workloads of the team, ensuring they are always fully resourced and daily targets are met
- Be a focal point on referrals for the other teams
- Provide MI to the business on call monitoring
- Ensure quality controls levels are maintained amongst the team
- Ensure procedures are kept up to date and adhered to by all team members
- Provide an excellent customer service to clients and IFAs from initial request to successful resolution either by telephone or written correspondence
- Comply with legislative and regulatory requirements, e.g., Data Protection, Money Laundering, FCA rules
- Ensure all calls within the team are answered within agreed timescales
- Understands training and competency framework, using Skills Matrix and ensuring all staff meet their required competency levels
**For this Finance Customer Service Team Leader role the employer is looking for**:
- Experience of at least 3 years within the Financial Services Sector
- Experience of managing a team ideally within a customer service environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good inter-personal, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised and fast-moving environment
- Ability to adapt to change with a flexible approach
- Good understanding of the Regulatory requirements, including Conduct Risk, Financial Crime, Data Protection, Information Risk, Fraud Prevention
- Strong communicational skills including an excellent professional telephone manner
