Purpose of the Job:
To control the purchasing of all raw materials for the Ardmel Group. This includes Tape and Engineering purchasing; as per Group requirements.

Working relationships (internal/ external):
Operations Director, Sales Office Manager, Sales Office Staff, Accounts Office, Stores Personnel, Senior Supervisors and our suppliers and subcontractors.

Main Responsibilities/tasks:

- Purchase raw material quantities according to requirements
- Manage the raw material stores and the booking in/receipt, and storage of raw materials
- There will be a requirement to fulfill part orders which will entail picking, fulfillment and engagement with warehouse stakeholders.
- Pass on information required by Production Managers and Sales Manager for the timely delivery of raw materials
- Sourcing of raw materials/products to meet specific requirements.?
- Control costs of raw materials and subcontractors by continual comparison
- Maintain, organise and file all documentation related to the purchase of goods in line with ISO 9001 requirements
- Engineering experience preferred but not essential
- Any other work as required by the company
