We are seeking a Physician Associate to join our excellent Breastcare team

Longer term there may be opportunity for a successful and motivated physician associate to undertake additional training to become an Advanced Clinical Practitioner

They work closely with our expert team of Radiologists, Surgeons, Nursing and AHP staff as part of the MDT and completing necessary documentation relating to their patients. They will be supervised by a designated consultant and will also have individual mentors to overview their career development.

This is also a great opportunity for you to live and work in or around the historic port city of Bristol: gateway to the South West England. Bristol has its own thriving art, music and cultural scene hosting several exciting annual festivals such as the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta and the Bristol Harbour Festival. Bristol is also ideally located for the outdoors, being within easy range of the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Mendip and Cotswold Hills. Getting around the city is easy with Bristol being named as Britain's first cycling city in 2014. Consistently ranked as having the highest quality of life in England and Wales, it’s easy to see why Bristol has the highest retention rate of students post-graduation than any other UK city.

please contact the clinical lead for additional understanding of main duties in the role.

Indicatively the successful physician associate will work in an outpatient setting, undertaking outpatient new clinics for suspected cancer, taking a lead in areas of interest - for example the male clinic, primary endocrine, or eventually the abscess service.
