Job Description

Renishaw are seeking to recruit a Section Leader within our manufacturing facility at Spectroscopy Products Division at New Mills. This interesting role requires the management of an assembly team producing a wide variety of high-quality precision instruments made to customer order.

**Responsibilities**:
- Planning and control of production resources, jobs, and materials to meet divisional targets.- Inventory control.- Continuous improvement - to review, propose and implement changes to processes and performance.- Administration, and management of all assembly staff.- Oversee the training and development of personnel to build a successful, confident team.- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Key requirements- Experience of managing and motivating a team.- Able to understand and interpret business needs and respond appropriately.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills- A broad understanding and appreciation of key operational areas including quality requirements, production processes and engineering terminology.- Excellent problem-solving skills

Desirable requirements- HNC qualified in a technical discipline.- Good working knowledge and experience of materials management.- Computer literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
