**Overview**

MDSec is primarily a consultancy-based organisation that offers a wide range of IT security services. We are seeking an office based Sales Team Leader who can focus primarily on defining efficient and effective internal sales practices and processes and monitoring these across the team. In addition the Sales Lead will be responsible for creating KPIs and bonus/incentive structures and general management of the Sales team.

**Job Summary**

The Sales Lead will be responsible for maintaining and developing a strong sales pipeline for their team and ensuring that consultancy team members are consistently scheduled for client engagements. You will define performance metrics at a company and individual sales team member level to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Sales Management_
- Develop and manage an effective sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth and predict peaks, troughs and identify resource hiring requirements ahead of time.
- Track and report on sales metrics, both at a company-wide and individual level.
- Use data-driven insights to refine sales processes and strategies.
- Manage the pipeline daily, weekly and monthly to ensure its accuracy.
- Define KPIs and incentives to ensure sales team members keep the pipeline accurate and up to date.
- Opportunity for limited account management.
- Team Knowledgebase_
- Assemble pre-existing material into a single, organised and maintained knowledge base.
- Identify any outdated and gaps in materials through periodic review and liaise with the Consultancy Manager to update the materials.
- Create a process for capturing and saving ad-hoc information for reuse within the knowledge base.
- Team Leadership_
- Lead, manage, and inspire a high-performing sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Translate company-wide metrics and goals into clear and achievable objectives for individual team members.
- Consultancy Team Schedule Support_
- Closely coordinate with MDSec's resourcing team and the sales team to fill the consultancy schedule.
- Balance sales efforts with team capacity, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Familiarisation with consultancy team backgrounds, skillsets, individual qualifications and clearances.
- Strategy Development_
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify market trends, opportunities for growth and benchmarking market day rates.
- Training and Development_
- Onboard new sales team members and ensure they are adequately trained.
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Reporting and Analysis_
- Quarterly report to upper management on the above.
- Qualifications_
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT sales, with at least 2 years in a similar managerial role.
- Strong understanding of sales metrics and how to translate these into individual performance objectives.
- Evidence of leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

**Salary Expectations**
- Basic £50k based on experience
- OTE £100k

Pay: £50,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
