**Job Title Collection Advisor - Income Maximisation Team**
**Location Walsall**
**Hours 37 hours per week**
**Salary Up to £22,950 per annum**
Join our dynamic Income Max team as a Collection Advisor, where your communication and negotiation skills are key to problem solve our void properties. If you have over 6 months of experience in collections/debt or customer service, then we want to hear from you The Income max team consists of multiple roles from Data validation, Void Administration to high-risk account work.
**The Role**:
- Use of all available tools to understand, improve and reduce overall void properties.
- Validation of data of void properties.
- Tracing of occupants of void properties.
- Gaining contact with high value accounts to arrange affordable payments.
- Ensuring all plans are affordable for customers.
**The Collections Team covers a working window of 8am to 6pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 6pm Friday and 8.30am to 1pm on Saturdays. You will be required to work varied shift patterns during these hours including some weekend and bank holiday work where applicable.**
**What you will Need**:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a collection environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to consult with our customers to fully understand their needs.
- The ability to solve practical problems, ask questions, and collect information to provide customer centric solutions.
- A high level of self-motivation and positive attitude and to put your customers at the heart of everything you do.
- The skill to utilise multiple systems to explore your customer’s needs and bespoke requirements.
- You will have GCSE’s (or equivalent) in Maths and English, alongside knowledge of Microsoft packages.
