Elmwood Nursery is a long established nursery which has served the local community of Newton Mearns for more than 20 years.

**We are looking for** a happy and helpful team player, who has a passion for working with children and drive to achieve outstanding practice.

**To be successful for this position**:
- You must at least hold an **HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Childcare** or equivalent and be able to demonstrate how you implement it in practice.
- You will need to demonstrate your commitment to children at all times taking into consideration their well-being, safeguarding and development.
- You will need to be an excellent communicator and demonstrate a professional level of written communication skills.
- You will need to have the ability to work with colleagues to make positive changes within the Nursery following the pre-birth to 3 and Curriculum of Excellence.
- You will need to demonstrate your ability to work in partnership with families.
- Previous experience of working with children in early years is essential.
- A current PVG and SSSC registration

**Salary**: £10.90-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
