**Job description**

A new vacancy has arisen for a Network Coordinator/ Transport administrator / Logistics administrator within the Pallet Network Team, at our family run depot in Portsmouth.

You will be working in a busy transport office, working closing with other members of staff and customers. The main part of this role is dealing with the pallet networks and drivers.

2mv are part of two pallet networks - ‘TPN’ and ‘Hazchem’, although the company do full and part loads and international freight forwarding and storage solutions.

**Key aspects of the role include**:
Provide an efficient, responsive and professional service when handling all incoming and outgoing calls with customers, depots and drivers.

Book jobs onto bespoke IT systems

Adhere to both company and statutory legislation and requirements to ensure the efficient running of the business

Coordinate deliveries and collections using the routing system and directly with drivers

**Skills / experience we are looking for**:

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, to prioritise tasks and be organised and methodical
- Experience in similar role / environment would be beneficial
- Must be fully computer literate
- Transport & logistics experience preferred
- Administrative experience essential
- Good customer service skills and solutions orientated approach
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be able to work using own initiative and have a flexible, ‘can-do’ attitude
- Own means of transport
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Details of work and benefits**:

- Standard Hours of work are 10am
- 18.30pm Monday to Friday
- need to be flexible and will need to cover other staff when they are on holiday (1 hour lunch)
- Other shifts that would need to be covered to cover holidays would be 6am - 14.30pm and 8am to 16.30pm.
- Saturday rota to check on deliveries from home, 1 in 4 (normally a few hours).
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (extra days given once you have been employed for 10 and 15 years)
