**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- To interface with Aerospace customers to identify new engineering projects, define project scope, review SoW requirements and create technical and commercial proposal
- To provide technical guidance to the team working on Aerospace projects
- Create work breakdown, work estimation, develop processes and methodologies for work execution.
- Define quality assurance procedures and checklists to ensure requirements are appropriately validated. Perform quality checks and reviews for the work performed by design engineers
- To hold regular governance meetings with customers to review progress of the projects, KPIs and review overall customer satisfaction levels
- To organise teams, assign roles responsibilities, assess capabilities and performance and implement employee engagement best practices to maintain high levels of motivation within the team
- To ensure compliance to QuEST quality management system, customer processes and regulatory requirements

**Required Skills (Technical Competency)**:

- Proven track record managing people and projects in Aero and Defence industry
- Ability to develop, organise and lead a large team working on complex engineering projects
- Good communication in English (oral & written) & Interpersonal skills
- Customer focus - ability to build and develop customer & supplier relationships to increase company viability.
