Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication plans to ensure stakeholder engagement and project success.
  • Establish and maintain governance structures to ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities.
  • Manage change control processes and ensure compliance with contract conditions.
  • Prepare and update business cases, and define, evaluate, track, and realize business benefits.
About You
  • Proven experience in managing projects and programs for local and central government bodies or other significant public sector clients.
  • Chartered project professional (APM) or equivalent, with PMQ accreditation and NEC 3/4 accreditation preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with senior client representatives and manage large technical teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients to deliver results, and a keen interest in developing skills in scheduling management.
  • Professional and ethical in all aspects of work, with a determined approach to delivery.
  • Good practical application of Microsoft software, including Project, Excel, and Word.
