About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Project Manager to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing projects of national importance, working closely with our clients, stakeholders, and colleagues from other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, including NEC 3/4 contracts.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing projects and programs for local and central government bodies or other significant public sector clients.
  • Chartered project professional (APM) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior client representatives and project teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, with a flexible and adaptable approach to project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project, Excel, and Word.
