**Salary - **£35,600 DOE including £70.47 per sleep-in with an average of 11 per month

**Service**:Children’s Residential Care Home

**Service Users**:YP with various needs; EBD, CSE, CCE

**Qualifications**:Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care

**Experience**:A t least 1 years’ experience relevant to residential care in the last 5 years

**Employment Type**:Full Time/ Permanent

This is a role that specialises in supporting Children and Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may display challenging behaviours.

**What you will be expected to do**:

- Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers
- To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
- To communicate effectively with the team regarding the plans for the day
- To provide reports and documentation that reflect the progress of the young person, using our paperless systems and tools
- To review the young people's care plans and other associated documentation

**You will also need**:

- To provide positive parenting
- To have exceptional communication skills
- To have sound working knowledge of current legislation e.g., Children's Homes Regulations 2015 (including quality standards)
- To be open-minded, empathetic in a calm and professional manner

**Essential Requirements**:

- Must have a full manual driving licence
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Be willing to participate in further continuing professional development to support the needs of our young people
- To have a clear passion and desire to support children and young people
- To be an active member of the team and be committed to working in unison
