Job Title: Administrator Helpline Assistant

Location: Newport

**Salary**: £21,500 per annum + benefits

Working within a fast-moving professional services environment as part of a team of 21. A high level of the following skills are essential for both aspects of the role however it is not essential to have the HMRC car related knowledge as training will be provided on the job. Occasionally a small amount of travel may be required.

- Customer focused and works well in team environment
- Telephone skills - excellent professional telephone manner essential
- IT skills - in particular excel, outlook, Word
- Integrity
- Understand the importance and work within the requirements of the Data Protection Act and within a Professional Services environment
- Reliable and flexible
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Experience working within pensions administration, insurance, IFA, employment taxes, Financial Services, payroll, or similar background is beneficial
- Processing data through large excel spreadsheets
- Take responsibility for quality of own work and check others
- Liaise on a regular basis with clients and payroll departments
- Provide accurate data to be processed through client payrolls
- Learn and understand HMRC guidelines for business and private mileage rules
- Undertake compliance checks for mileage logs and advise drivers of inaccuracies providing guidance as appropriate
- Run, filter, sort and validate reports
- Work with Partners who are remote to the main office requiring taking careful instructions over the phone
