Clinical, Intervention and Teaching Fellow in

This fellowship programrepresentsthe coming together of North Wales Clinical School (NWCS), Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital (LHCH), and the hospitals within Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) toprovidean exciting opportunity for a senior respiratory trainee to developthe practical procedureskillsfor a modernstate of the artservicein thoracicmalignancy. This position will also allow the successful applicant to develop the necessary attributes to fulfil aleading role within medical education in the future.
1. Intensive exposure to respiratory clinical procedures to prepare a senior respiratory trainee to develop into a modern lung cancer clinician with a focus on gaining competence in Linear Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) and Medical Thoracoscopy. The post also offer exposure to Electro-navigational Bronchoscopy (ENB) and Radial EBUS
1. Ongoing development of teaching and training skills with a view to taking on an educational role in the future
1. To fulfil the requirements needed to achieve an educational qualification (Postgraduate certificate in Medical Education or higher)
1. To provide training to allow a trainee to attain level 2 competency in Thoracic Ultrasound
1. To provide an opportunity to undertake a clinical research project in the field of respiratory medicine
